Lots of choices on youtube to match any learning style. While I like Butterfly Spanish & Anna’s enthusiasm I find fluencyprof.com & his combinations of audio & visual very effective. I note that many others speak too quickly when they revert to Spanish in their narrative.
I was given a computer program by a friend called Pimsler. It is excellent to learn conversational Spanish. It comes in 4 courses of 20 plus lessons each. I just started and already I’m hearing words when I’m out and about in the Spanish community. It’s really exciting to hear and understand at least a few words and to know how I would respond in Spanish. I’m looking forward to my first trip to Cuenca, Ecuador and trying out my Spanish no matter how “rough” I may sound to the locals.
